Camphill Boil Water

BOIL WATER NOTIFICATION

SLOCUM WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION 

Due to a main line break on ACR 163 located in the Camphill Well 3, Rt 3 area, the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Slocum Water Supply Corporation, PWS ID 0010028, to notify the 323 customers in that area to boil their water prior to consumption until further notice effective as of  October 05, 2026.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and for making ice, all water should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two (2) minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. The rescind notice will be issued in the same manner as the Boil Water Notice.

Slocum Water Supply Corporation will be hosting a Community Meeting to discuss important matters concerning our water system and the future of our community.
Date: Monday, October 19, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Slocum ISD High School
All Slocum Water Supply Corporation customers and community members are encouraged to attend.
This meeting will provide an opportunity to share information, discuss concerns, and hear from the community. We encourage everyone to attend and participate.
