BOIL WATER NOTIFICATION
SLOCUM WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION
Due to 2 main line breaks and replacing 400 ft. of main line on ACR 187 in the Garrison, Well 4, Rt 4 area, the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Slocum Water Supply Corporation, PWS ID 0010028, to notify customers to boil their water prior to consumption until further notice effective as of January 08, 2026.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and for making ice, all water should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two (2) minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. The rescind notice will be issued in the same manner as the Boil Water Notice.
